ARTIST STATEMENT
"I was born in Vancouver and spent most of my life in the Okanagan. I was introduced to Brazilian soapstone by Clifford Pittman in the 1990s. Fell in love with the stone because of the unique colours and grain lines making every sculpture unique and one of a kind, letting the stone itself determine its form in a way. I have always been interested in animals from the extinct like dinosaurs to insects and whales. All of Earth's creatures have always amazed me.
