The Lloyd Gallery is committed to making your purchase experience pleasant and personable-- and so we like to have a chance to speak with you in person rather than offer a shopping cart. Please call us directly to complete a purchase during business hours at 1-250-492-4484 (or place a hold on a painting by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). This is required to finalize payment details. If you prefer that we call you, we will be pleased to do so at the number and time you indicate to us by email.

Payment Methods

We accept E-transfers, personal cheques, VISA /MC, and cash. We do not accept American Express. An interest-free monthly payment plan is also available on request (see below)! Confidentiality is assured that your personal information will be used solely for purposes of filling your order. All prices listed are in Canadian dollars ($CAD); in terms of listed pricing, FR means framed and UF means unframed. Firstly, please note that framing around artwork changes regularly; and thus prices are subject to change. In the case of a discrepancy, the in-store framed price is considered correct. Secondarily, an artist's retail price list (at all their galleries) changes slightly every few years alongside inflation, and although every effort is made to update the available artwork online, if there is any discrepancy in an unframed price the in-gallery price will be most current and considered correct. This is a rarer occurance though, as we strive to keep all unframed prices updated! Lastly, any listed prices on the website do not include the applicable sales tax (Canada's federal is 5% GST plus the BC provincial 7% PST). Please note any taxes are determined by the province or country the art will be shipped to. No tax to the US but be aware that art valued over $2500 is subject to a small amount of duty charges.To see approximate equivalents in your currency, here is a currency converter.

Insurance Appraisals

The Lloyd Gallery is pleased to provide appraisals, but typically ONLY for artists represented or previously represented. Sometimes we will appraise other unknown artists, but it takes up a lot of our time in labour. If we can't take on your project we will direct you to a local expert appraiser (who may also be able to visit your home to appraise an entire collection). Please read thoroughly before contacting us. 

No-Interest Payment Plan

For all purchases, the gallery's Payment Plan service offers the opportunity to pay by installments over a specified time (3, 6, 9, 12, 24 months or more) with no charges or interest. For example, for a $3000 painting+ 12% tax = $3360 total cost: 6 payments of $560 or 12 payments of $280/month. The payments are charged on a day you choose each month to your credit card, or with postdated personal cheques. We encourage you to take advantage of the flexibility provided by our Payment Plan service, as short and long term payments make it possible to build a beautiful original art collection on a limited budget. Shipping

The Lloyd Gallery has been shipping artwork nationally and internationally for 35 years. Our qualified staff pack in customized box or roll largest works up into tube (then boxed). We ship at very reasonable rates with excellent local couriers throughout Western Canada; usually through CANPAR, ACE COURIER or UPS. If you have a preference for carrier (including one not on that list) let us know and we will accommodate your needs. Regarding international post, Fedex, UPS or DHL are our main choices for shipping to Europe and Asia. Every effort is made to ensure that your purchase arrives in perfect condition. Outside of North America, your country likely has a VAT (value added tax) on original art from as low as 6% up to 20% (the higher VAT is usually charged for prints, not original art). This is collected by the courier via a phone call to you before delivery. It is a smooth process and we are pleased to have had excellent service from our shippers over the past 20 years. In case of issues we will work with you to ensure your product ends up as expected.

VIRTUAL HANGING SERVICES

When determining the appropriate size and orientation of a painting for your wall, we recommend to go a bit further than standing next to the wall with measuring tape: cut and tape a large piece of wrapping paper or newsprint to your wall and step back to the living space where you would be enjoying the artwork from. This will help give the best visual of size, shape and feel of the space it will enhance. Alternatively put four sticky notes on the wall at each pretend corner of the common painting size that you hope to hang. If you would like to see a specific painting from our website superimposed onto your wall, we can virtually hang it for you free of charge! Email us a photo of the wall in question with some referencing information for approximate sizing: we don't want to accidentally assume your room is smaller or larger then it actually is and change the size of the painting. So, if possible, we ask that you place some tape on the wall for us to measure size, or let us know the size of a painting already in that space, etc.

On Approval (loaning art)

If virtual hanging is not an option, or if you would much prefer to see the work on your wall in person, we are pleased to provide you with the opportunity to take artwork home on approval for up to 10 days! This is very useful when it comes to viewing the artwork in different lighting (morning, afternoon, evening) and gives you time to enjoy and discuss the art privately rather than making a decision in the gallery. This service is also free of charge, but we do take down your information for insurance purposes.

Framing Services & restoration

Considering reframing a part of your collection? Does anything deserve modernizing to better suit your new or updated home? We have an extensive collection of quality picture framing mouldings and we can frame anything-- even large flags, antique maps, guns, medals, hockey jerseys, etc. We also do professional restoration on frames & paintings that have been damaged or are aged or dirty to the best of our ability. Please note that any very valuable paintings we will prefer to refer you to professional restoration experts in BC. Unique picture framing requests are very welcome; come in for estimates and consultation! Your work deserves quality frames.

Gift Certificates

Consider a special surprise art gift! A Gift Certificate is available in any denomination and can be purchased in person, or over the telephone. This can be done over time on a payment plan (this can be a great way to save for a birthday or retirement, or Christmas gift, for example) or by a group of individuals calling the gallery to add to the total.

Delivery & Installation

The Lloyd Gallery is pleased to offer complimentary delivery throughout South and Central Okanagan BC region. This service is for purchased artwork, prints, or other Lloyd Gallery items. Installation is usually free of charge, but for more challenging hanging locations or for multiple pieces of art, it is at a reasonable fee.
